Chabertia, buccal capsule

  • The large buccal capsule  indicates that this is a tissue or plug feeder but it lacks the teeth and leaf crowns that are found in other tissue feeders eg Strongylus sp
  • The curvature of the anterior end is also a characteristic of this nematode
