Biology Head of Group Professor Ian Maudlin (Head, Department of Tropical Animal Health & Manager, DfID Animal Health Programme) The Vector Biology Research Group is concerned about all aspects of the transmission of disease pathogens to man and animals. Areas of interest include vector ecology and behaviour, vector-pathogen interactions, parasitology and vector control. The group currently includes one spin-out company, In-Phage Ltd., which is developing novel forms of pest control. |
