Case Review (5 of 6)

Poor Exercise Tolerance

The owner describes the dog as lazy.  There is a suggestion that poor exercise tolerance has developed.  We need to bear this in mind and consider possible endocrinopathies such as hypothyroidism and hyperadrenocorticism.  However, injudicious use of depot steriods and fatigue associated with chronic pruritus could be the cause in this case.
