Summer Vacation Scholarships

Summer Vacation Scholarships exist for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year undergraduates. These run for an eight-week period in the summer vacation for which a stipend of £200 per week is available.

The student will be integrated into a research group within the VTRI Partners as a team member and produce a well-defined project which may result in publication in scientific journals.

A supervisor will be assigned to the student who will write a short report on the outcome of the project.

Many graduates who pursue a research career have participated in summer research projects. Their project supervisors are often the initial contact for them to seek advice on future career pathways.
