Concurrent Therapy

Remember that concurrent therapy for other conditions may in fact influence or even cause the skin problem, for instance steroids may be administered for arthritis over a long period and the owners may have forgotten about this.

In this case the injections that this dog has had are likely to have been glucocorticoids and we might need to follow this up to determine whether short, medium term or long term preparations were used.
